    Moving away

Looks like I'll need to move my post over to the Allison page. I'm trading my Bullet off Tomorrow for an XB21. Took along time to get it done but Saturday is the day.

Apparently even the posts are slower over there.

Don’t know his reasoning but an SST doesn’t come close to a XB21 as far as fishability. XRS, I’d have a hard time letting go of.

If I hadn't found my XRS in stock, I would have ordered an Allison. Probably should have anyway.

I absolutely loved my Bullet 95 % of the time. Really nice looking on the water and on the trailer. Fished great. Road just as well. Just never could get used to the hole shot with the 300R. 6-8 props and a foil just wasn't happy with it. If I was going to put another 4--5 grand in it to get it to hole shot. I just bought the boat that already had it. Thought I'd give Allison a try.
I have not a bad thing to say about a bullet. I just wasnt happy with the hole shot.

If you don’t mind me asking, did you have a hydraulic JP? What prop and gears on lower? I have an SDC with 300R, 1.75, 30 Bravo for fishing prop and it has a GREAT hole shot. I know the SST is a faster boat just curious what set up you had on it? Thx.

12 inch manual plate 1:75 gears multiple props between 28 -31 best I had was a 30 Bravo with 8 holes and a full flair. The SST acts completely different than the x boats but I'm not sure about the SDC. I have no experience in those.
