    Campgrounds at Falcon and Amistad

Can anyone recommend some safe campgrounds around either of these lakes?

Falcon has a camp ground at the south end of the lake in the state park. As for Amistad, I'd skip it and go to Ivie.

Not much at Amistad, Governors landing and Air Force Marina are pretty much only one's left for camping. Lake is low can't camp anywhere federal park and water is a long way.

Yeah, I've been to both uncountable number times each over the past fifteen years or so and the last thing I'd do right now is sleep in a campground that close to the border. And I'm not one of the snowflakes that always posts about safety down there. Stay at Falcon Heights or somewhere in Zapata for Falcon and in Del Rio for Amistad.
