    171 Champ top speed

    Is anyone running a 171? If so what are you able to do top end. I have a 200o with a 115 merc.

    I have a 1995 171 dc w/150 Evinrude Intruder I can get to 60mph GPS before it starts walking . But as I said it's a little over-powered . P/P is 3.5 Prop is SS 25 pitch.

    I've got a GPS best of 37 with two people half a tank of gas. I'm only getting 4800 RPM with a Solis 4 blade 17 pitch aluminum. Any suggestions?
