    My new ‘98 cobra 201

    Hey guys!
    just picked my first boat. It’s a ‘98 201d with a Mariner 225. Ive owned her 2 weeks now, have yet to get her in the water. Been raining and updating a couple of things. did some preventative maintenance, straightened out the battery compartment, and replaced the soft touch switches(they were all melted and sticky).

    finally got decent weather today, gave her a bath and shined her up a bit. Still have some more shining to do.

    excited to make some memories with the family in the boat.

    I intended on trading up my 1997 201D after buying it used in 2006 but it fishes so well I can't justify getting anything newer. You are going to love it.

    I get busy over the fall with football so I am just now seeing this, never got an email notification. Newwriemarine.com is where I purchased the switches for the consoles.
