    300X OT430138 still chasing gremlims on Port motor

    can ignn coils pass air gap test jumping 1/2" but still fail under load?

    Not likely, but heat can cause them to fail when hot, that is why checking under heat and load with a timing light is a very good test

    just an update on what we found,strange as it was,the 5pin connectors on 2 ignition coils came unbuttoned.we also found corrosion real bad on sparkplug wire terminals,so we replaced those.On the coil connectors we ran zip ties to help secure them
