Rode in my first Phoenix boat about three weeks ago.....

Buddy got a 721. I liked everything about it except it didn’t have extra padded front deck. We had 25mph winds and that boat pretty much cut through it like butter. I was very impressed. I just sold my FX20 this weekend, so I’ll be looking long and hard at a Phoenix before I buy another one.

I'm still getting used to my 921 Elite. I can't seem to figure out the chine walk, but that'll come in time and it's no fault of the boat. The smooth ride is a huge upgrade over the Ranger I had, been windy in Florida and that boat is like butter.

Try raising the motor up. Works like a charm on my phx
