    Thanks for the link Mike. We noticed this year that "something" strange began occurring in the marsh across the river from my parents house on the Poropotank river this spring. I've only been over there once this year and it was pretty chilly/windy to launch the yaks or skiff to ride through and check it out. From the porch, we can see what appears to be huge mounds of mud piled up, similar to a crawfish den but a couple of feet tall. Also seem to be fewer birds working the marsh in/outflows than normal.
