    Front Trailer Running Light Unplugged

Hi, I have been chasing a short in my trailer and found the plug on the front port side running light has come undone. I believe this is what is causing my truck fuse (running lights) to blow. The problem is the hole is small and I cant just reach in and plug it back in. It appears there are 2 metal studs (?) that connect this light to the trailer. I'm not sure if this light can be removed. Anyone ever deal with this? If so, how did you tackle the problem? Thank you.

I started drilling one one of those "studs", it is tough metal. After I burned through a couple bits, I quit. That light had quit working and I was going to replace it. I didn't. Glad you can see it. Since shorting, I'd at least attempt to knock that light off with a hammer and see if you can pull it enough to splice. Otherwise pull new wire.
