    Prop for my 186

I am repowering my 1998 186DC. I am putting a new 150 Pro XS on it. Was running a 200 EFI but it went POP. Anyone have any advice on the right prop? I tend to run a full boat. 2 people and lots of gear.
    Many thanks!

My 186 150 EFI is running a 25m Yamaha. Tempest 23 was recommended. Not sure on Pro XS but would think Tempest Plus 23.........What numbers were you getting with the 200?

I happen to own a 23 Tempest. Is that worth a try at least? I hear SS props are hard to come by these days.
And to answer osnags question from before, I got 67 GPS with the 200 efi while it was running strong.

Yes for sure try it. You'll have to really play with plugs for hole shot and blow out tho.
