    does anyone have a review of a chris bailey hydrofoil on skeeter

    I’ve got one on an older ZX200. I added a bunch of rear weight - twin PP blades, hyd jack plate, etc.. Boat porpoised horribly then. Added a CB foil and that fixed my issue. Planes at lower speed. Stays on plane easier. I’ll do a CB foil on my future boats as well likely.

    Well it works…

    hole shot is easily twice, maybe three times as fast.
    Before I would porpoise at anything less than 36-37 mph with full livewells and a passenger. I can now ride around 20 mph w no issues.

    I did notice that the boat now wants the jack plate a little higher than it did. Not real sure why, but definitely the case.

    I may have lost 2-3 mph top end but I dinged the prop last trip before I put it on so I can’t tell you for sure that the foil did that.

    I have a 2018 TZX190 and it would porpoise terrible around 30 mph, no matter how I trimmed it.
    Installed the CB Foil and now she is super smooth.
