About 24 hours after the second shot, I felt like I had a mild flu for about 8 hours. Took a nap then later went to bed. Woke up fine the next day. Good luck. And thanks.

Exercise and rub your arm often. The vaccine has a tendency to pool in the muscle and you want it to get into the bloodstream as quick as possible.

I got Phizered. Just a very little arm soreness and I had to move my arm around to even notice it.

I’m 30 and it hit me pretty hard.Felt like crap for 24 hours and it was like getting a cold, slight flu, severe flu, then cold all within a few hours

At the 4hr Mark- shoulder and arm hurt
    8hr- slight chills
12-chills and dizziness slight body aches
18hr-severe chills, headache, 101 fever, dizziness, severe body aches
    20hr- sweating and body aches
    24hr-slight body ache
    36hrs felt like nothing happened.

On average it seems the older you are the less severe the side effects. Younger people with stronger immune systems seem to have stronger reactions. I just ran a mild fever of 99 to 100 for about 12 hours starting about 18 hours after the second shot. The exception is those who have already had Covid, especially those who received the antibody treatment. Some of those people have bad reactions. I know a person, 72yo, had Covid, had the antibody treatment. 10 weeks after, he got the Moderna shot. First shot put him in the emergency room. He said he felt worse from the vaccine than Covid itself.

1st shot: I felt fine for about 16 hours and then the next 24 hours were filled with body aches, chills, and a 101 degree fever and then all suddenly cleared. I had a sore arm for 4 days.

2nd shot: I began a 102 degree fever within 8 hours of the shot and that lasted 24 hours. Same body aches and chills. I had a sore arm for about 4 days as well.

I had COVID-19 in mid September last year and the reactions to the shots were worse than COVID was for me as I was a lucky one.

I got my first dose of Moderna about 6 weeks after having COVID. About 20 of us here at the FD did. No one had a severe reaction. Just basic fatigue, headache etc afterwards.

Good to hear Mark. It is going to be interesting to hear if the reactions to the booster that is coming will be worse than the initial vaccine.
