841 miles each way, Russellville, AR to to Zapata, TX and did it a BUNCH of times!
2500 miles or so round trip, many times.
2300 miles KY to CA just completed. No issues.

Ft Irwin, CA to St Joseph, MO. Just shy of 1600 miles. I go from KC to Guntersville once a year. 750miles each way.
1,100 miles one way each year for the last 12 years. Except last year of course. Can't wait to do it this weekend!

Shorter the distance make you any smarter? I would think so. A few hours

2200 round trip Ohio to Toledo bend for 6 or 7 years then 1300 round trip Ohio to Santee for about 30 years then 1100 round trip Ohio to Guntersville alternating with Santee for the past 7 or 8 years. Mix in a half dozen 1100 mile trips to Kentucky Lake. Looking to hit Okeechobee in February so back to the 2200 miler next year. With Ohio's cold, there is nothing like looking forward to that 1st spring fishing trip.
