    Question Leaf spring help

My son has a 2016 190tx with a single axle trailer, his buddy has the same setup and had a leaf spring break while coming home from NY. My kid read that it seems to be a "know problem" with the springs snapping. Him being proactive wants to upgrade the springs before having any issues, does anyone have any info on who, what, where to go with this?

I see there are different lengths, number of springs (weight ratings) and bolt diameters.

    Thanks in advance

    add'l info....my kid's trailer has 3 leafs....the guy's that broke was a single leaf...the boat is 2 years newer

Also made me think about this.

But it sounds like they used not very good steel or something also.
I think I would be proactive also. New springs and hardware probably cheaper at home than on the side of the road.
One of the first things I noticed on my used boat a 2013 I bought in 2014 the condition of the china tires took care of that after seeing several stories online of trailer tire blow outs.

Tractor Supply or Rural King sells springs for them.
