Anyone have any experience running something other than the supplied (Fury 3 blade 24p) on a 21' PHX? Did my initial break in (Merc 250 four stroke) and not "wow'd" by the hole shot with the three blade. Certainly still need to learn the boat but curious on possibly a Bravo I 25p. Thoughts welcome and thanks!
Tryin a 24 Tempest in the next day or so. I also have a 24 Fury and it hasn't really impressed me.
I am running the Bravo 1 xs all plugs closed in 26 pitch. Amazing hole shot 3 seconds and top speed is around 71mph loaded. the 3 blade yamaha was faster but the boat handles much better from hole shot all the way to top end! no chine walking either. I am running a yamaha 250 sho, so you might want to drop to a 25 pitch.
Brief update. Has a chance to open it up twice and trim it yesterday. Max rpm was 5780 first time at 68.5mph. Second run 5800rpm at 70.3. Atlas jack was between 10 and 12 setting.

Resurrecting an old thread. I picked up a 2021 21 PHX with the Merc four stroke. Anybody have updates? Thinking about trying a Bravo but unsure on which one.
You can try a Fury 3 in 23. I turn mine about 6200 at 72mph. That is what I have on my 20 PHX and the smaller prop brought the boat to life. I also have a Bravo 1 XS 25 that has a good hole shot and good in rough water but takes some of the fun of driving away since it is so stable.

I was thinking about a 26 bravo based on what I’ve seen others run. Now you have me thinking it would be too steep.
The 25 Bravo gets me to 6100 RPM's which the V8 likes.
I have a 2021 21phx top speed 66mph at 5800rpm. Has a 24p 3 blade factory prop. I'm looking for more speed any thoughts?
