    cork patch

    i have not patched cork in a while, in the past i mixed cork dusk with rubber cement and made a paste for the patch material, what glue base is being used now....can i used 10 minute glue that i used for handles and seats?

    Yes, or a less expensive waterproof wood glue like Titebond III if you have it.

    I've mixed cork dust with both thread finish and paste like Rod Bond. Either will work.

    Thanks for the advise, I have three rods I am going to fix for a friend that the mice chewed the cork on the handles

    Wood putty works well too.
