May fishing report. A 7lb & 6lb
Boy May has been really busy with all the graduates and work. But I have been able to get out a couple time during the week after work. Hit Anita on a Wednesday night. The water is still clear but starting to green up. Started on the bank with a 3,8 swim bait, no bites, tried other baits but it wasn’t happening. Moved over some rocky structure with a jerkbait working it fast and started getting lots on 10”/12” bass, better than nothing but not what I’m looking for. I moved to a different spot and through a bigger swim bait and felt a nice bite, soon it was in my net a big fat 7lb!! Few pictures and back in the water she went. There was a couple other fishing trips but nothing worthy of a picture.
Now today had a morning graduation and after that me and my daughter hit the quarry for the first time this year. Caught a few small fish (daughter got the first fish :-) then later in the morning made a cast with a weight less 6” worm to a log and landed a 6lb bass. So much fun to have my daughter help with the pictures and have her with me.
