I found some salt free stuff at Target. ‘Market Pantry Southwest Chipotle’. Sweet and citrus with garlic, chili and just a little heat. Excellent. Normally I make my own but this is in my lineup now. (I hate salt based seasonings)

Since you are in Oklahoma, check out Steele's country seasoning. Technically, they have Beef or Pork, but they are both great on chicken.

Whatever seasoning you use, marinate the chicken in Allegro overnight first

Country Bobs is the best for poultry. I don't like it on anything else. Every time I give a sample to someone, they ask what the seasoning is and go buy some. It makes the skin taste like bacon.

1 Marinate in zip lock bag. Chipotle peppers and adobo sauce withe the juice of a lime. Season with salt/pepper/granulated garlic mix. This for southwest cooking

2 Marinate in buttermilk. Season with same mix. This for just basic cooking with potatoes and green beans

3 Marinate in Greek vinaigrette and smashed garlic cloves. Season with mix along with Cavendish for pasta dishes

4 Marinate in my sauce. Season with my rub. Spritz with mix of apple cider vinegar and hot sauce while cooking. Finish with my sauce for bbq chicken.

If you haven't used B&B rubs, at Academy, your missing some good stuff

This stuff is the BOMBBBBB. It makes amazing grilled chicken. Marinade for a couple hours, baste a little more on while grilling. Great on vegetables too. I buy it at stores for a lot cheaper than it is on the site.

My inlaws always get us a big container of Jack Stack's dry rub seasoning from Kansas City. I put that on everything from chicken to brisket.
