Crestliner fish hawk running high rpm/prop help

I have a crestliner fish hawk 1750, rpm gauge showing 5-6000 at full throttle or close to it, if I trim up the boat starts Porpoising. It has a Yamaha 115 hp 4 stroke motor. Not sure if it is the prop or another issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I feel like the motor rpm should be a bit lower

From what I am seeing online, your RPMs should actually be higher but this depends on your motor's year. Googly search shows 5300-6300 max but does not mention year.

I have a Bass Hawk 1750 - your boat with a different interior layout but same hull and I run 6300 with a Merc 115 Pro XS at 41mph, 3x15p. Full tank, 600lbs of people, full tournament load. 6300 is the max rpm for this motor.

So need to know your motor year, specific model and what you running for a prop and such.

What speed are you getting at full throttle/max RPM before you start porpoising?

40-43ish, again it’s only when I trim up. I may just be used to bass boat geometry that dance on calm water.
