Rec crank as good as Daiwa Peanut shallow-mid diver.

I have found that the Daiwa Peanut is the go-to crank for smallies, largemouths, spotted bass, red-eye bass, in the creeks and rivers in my area of Tennessee.

This said, I have snagged and lost three in the last couple of outings, I suppose that's just the nature of the beast.

Please recommend other effective and excellent performing cranks that dive in the 3 foot range that are also good at deflecting off of rocks that won't break the bank...I would like about the same size as the Daiwa Peanut and around the 1/4 - 5/16 oz range.

    TIA.

Okay, so the OG reliable Rebel Craws...anything else? Does Norman still make the Baby N in the 3 foot diving range?

I've relied on the Peanut for shallow tidal water fishing for awhile. At 3/8, casts really well for a 2in bait. Not a substitute, but another of my favs is the Norman Thin N. Have not tried it but the Mad N may be a good substitute. A Bandit 200 can also be good. Bill Lewis MR-6 and SB-57 cranks are others I plan on trying.

Bandit 100, big O. Rebel has a few baits that may work too. Get some beer and check ebay.

I'm in the Bandit and Big O camp. I've honestly always kind of thought the Bandit 100, Big O, and Peanut were all very, very similar.
