Looking for some insight. Like an idiot first time i installed my 360 and had it out I dropped the trolling motor on the cable and cut my power supply in half (no big deal just splice together) but it broke the outside casing on my sonar cables. It didn't break them thankfully i thought but i was going to sell the 360 and upgrade and i took the tape i had on it off to take pictures for the guy. I noticed oily substance and though it was the electrical tape or something with water. But I didn't want to sell someone something that was broke so I called hummingbird about it and they said i needed to send it in for service which cost 500 bucks... My question is there something that i could put on it like epoxy to keep the liquid in there and would it still work good or is it pretty much trashed? Thanks for any input!
