    Lithium Battery Trays

I just bought new Impulse Lithium’s from Kevin at K and K here on the board. What is everybody using for trays? I don’t know if I’m going to fab something up myself or if someone makes something...? I’m so busy working on everybody else’s stuff I do not have time to work on my own mess....

I made mine out of aluminum angle. I needed every last 1/16" to fit my batteries in and nobody made a tray to fit my batteries tightly. I tried a couple of custom places buy nobody was taking orders for custom jobs, they were all backed up.

Aluminum angle with slots cut out for ratchet straps tig welded together, three battery's in a row with a thin sheet of foam between them so no chaffing, they fit perfectly.

Roy at Wacky Riggers (also in NC) and several others make custom trays for lithium sized batteries.

that depends what battery you got. There’s a bunch of different sizes of lithium.

I ripped some strips off of a pvc trim board. I set them inside of my existing trays. Perfect fit.
