Ultrex Vibration

[Flint River Nut]

Minn Kota Ultrex has a bad vibration on 8 to 10 setting. It is not noticeable at lower speeds. Shaft is not bent. Any ideas what it could be?

Try pulling the prop and rotating it 180 degrees and reinstall

Cannot get the prop off, no matter how hard I force it. That tells me the shear pin must be bent. I bought this boat used, so I cannot speak for the history. However, there are no signs of impact on the prop or foot that tells me he hit anything.

I just went through this with mine..was a bent prop shaft. I had to pull the prop and spin the shaft to see it.

The prop will come off. Try to beat it off with a hammer. this may break the blades. if it does than you will have to cut it off. Anther thing that might work is a wheel puller a big bearing puller. I had to cut several off because the hammer trick did not work. when you take the prop off you should be able to tell if the prop shaft is bent.
