I have the summit one and it does not fit tight like yours does. I agree the other one seems better.

Bought the summit after your video as I didn't know about the summit. Ive been looking at getting one for bout a month or so. Just couldn't bring myself to pay Ashmore's price.. its a dam plastic cover.. TY for video and letting me know there was a actual reasonably priced option.

Thanks for checking it out guys!...I have no clue what happened with my Summit cover, it’s way too snug as ya saw in the video but I’ve heard a few people say theirs isn’t like that...it’s strange

Hey guys, I don't want to sound flip, but please explain to me why the need for the protector? I have yet to hear of anyone damaging their transducer, and the probability seems unlikely. Seems like a solution in need of a problem?

dam expensive transducer not taking a chance of a rock hitting mine while Trailering down the road. For 50 bucks worth the worry

Also for those of us up north who partake in ice fishing, the ducer cover will provide peace of mind during transport. Things can get banged around pretty good in the back of a sleigh behind a snowmobile etc.

I got my summit cover, it’s snug for sure but I’m happy enough with it. I don’t feel it’s flimsy when installed and should provide adequate protection. Couldn’t justify 3x the cost for a more robust option after having the summit cover in my hands.

I’m wondering if they made some changes since I got mine, I’ve had a couple people say that theirs isn’t super tight, but a couple others who say theirs is...not sure why the differences, but glad yours worked out for ya!

Not to bust any bubbles. I used a spinning reel cover from TW $8.00 to protect my AT ducer. Works well. But the boat is always cover when traveling

no bubbles busted I rarely use a cover unless on a very long trip so the reel cover most likely wouldnt stay on however a specialy designed neoprene cover custom made w velcro straps is a super idea and could be sold at half the summit cover cost w great profit margins..hmmmm

That might not be a bad idea, I’m sure it would sell!
