Hi all, I have a 2006 115 mercury optimax and noticed that when in gear at lower speeds, if i trim up or down the motor speed drops as long as I hold the tilt switch. Let go of the tilt switch and it goes back to normal. Is that common with these motors? Batteries are new.
Caused by increased load on the alternator.
