I use to exclusively use Cashion. Then I discovered that when its wet and you have a hard hook set the rod will slip out of your hands a lot because of their grips. A lot of people love them though.

Yeah thats why i wanted to try a second hand cashion rod before going in. Ive got some JBs its the same thing when there wet. I know there both local and love that. Someone on here has to have a cashion for a fellow fisherman to give a shot. I know theres alot sitting in closets , garages, houses and boats on here and raleigh area.

I dont find the Cashion rods hard to keep in hand when wet. If you are wanting to try one out. PM me. maybe we can set something up.

I use emergency tape on all my rods, for the rod grip. Wet has nothing to do with this decision.

Yeah me either. Now, I have my own issues with Cashion but never slippery grips.

Due tell. Is it issue with the Rod or the Person?
