    Watched a young eagle try to catch a duck on High Rock yesterday,The duck took off like a bat out of hades,It flew out of site about 20ft. in front of the eagle as far as you could see.

    They are super cool birds. Very majestic. You cannot go out in the south Louisiana marsh area without seeing at least a few usually plenty. Heck we had four or five circling the field beside the factory I work in the other day while the tractors were bush hogging. They were after the rats and rabbits. Plenty around Toledo Bend and Rayburn also

    I'm always impressed by the size of these birds. I love watching the Eagles and Loons on the water.
