2021 Pro Xs 250 Power loss

    S/N: 2B786374

Over the past month and 30hrs I’ve noticed a loss of 300rpm and 4-5 mph. Boat struggles to get on plane now and feel overall just sluggish compared to 30hrs ago. Total of 63hrs. I’ve read a lot about hot foot adjustment issues and I’m waiting to get in the dealer. Question is can the adjustment move/cable stretch? I’ve also seen where it takes the full sweep of the hot foot pedal to get to 100%. My pedal doesn’t even return to the idle stop sits about 1/4in in front of the stop bolt. Please help it’s driving me insane.

    Dave:

You did not mention the 1/4" offset from the idle stop screw in either of your other contacts (a PM and a post in someone else's thread). That information is critical.

I would strongly urge you to get this to a dealer that has the G3 Diagnostic System, as you cannot accurately adjust the hotfoot without being able to monitor "Demand Linear" values.

The cable is operating a very sensitive electrical SENSOR, and that sensor is not intended to be a mechanical stop for a foot-operated throttle. Improper setup can result in poor performance, but can ALSO result in damage to the Demand Sensor over time.

Well had the dealer check and readjust my hot foot but it was already at 100% and 0% at idle. I guess Im gonna try to locate a 23 Fury and see what happens.
