My First Triton a 1998 Triton 21 HP came with a Hamby Keel Protector as did my 2003 Tr 21 HP however a dealer told me Triton is no longer using the Hambys. Anyone know if that is true??

That's true. I believe they use KeelShield now.
I will NOT use anything but HAMBY'S. They are the BEST.
My son's new Triton 18TRX was ordered by the dealer without the Keelsheild so they could install a Hamby's.
I also prefer Hamby's.

They are 3/4" thick at the contact point where you will beach the boat and will not come off if installed correctly.
