    Where to install a 60A breaker for my TM?

    I need to install a Minn Kota 60A breaker for my TM. I'm not sure where to mount it. I don't want it on the floor in case I get water in the bilge. The power cables run under the gas tank and straight up the middle of the boat, so mounting it to an inner sidewall would require multiple connections unless I reroute the entire harness, which I don't want to do. It sounds crazy to me, but is it OK to mount this to the side of the gas tank with double sided body moulding tape? I know there are other electrical connections on the tank. Would this one be stupid?

    The power wire connects to the troll motor battery. remove this wire, I have seen where they make a buss bar than the breaker will mount to and it will mount to the positive of the battery. this put the breaker close to the battery and with a solid connection. Of coarse the power wire for the troll motor will mount to the breaker. The link below is a good option and will make a clean install.
