Does anyone know how much play the wheel hubs should have “vortex” non maintenance ones? I have minimal movement when I have trailer jacked up, no grease on back side of wheels, just do not want to explode a hub.

I have turbo seal hubs by tie down. Not vortex. Still have play if you take wheel and move up and down. Just not sure how much is acceptable. Will call Tie Down Monday
Barely perceptible play is okay. Hard to describe. The “simple” answer is to pull the caps and tighten the castle nuts one notch and see how they feel. A notch too loose is better than a notch too tight.
If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity,
nothing else matters.
