I just crawled all over that motor and see not a single sticker anywhere. Do I need to remove something to find it???

Location is on the starboard sternbracket below the top mounting bolt. Nothing to remove. Other wise check into the information in your registration and owners packet. A dealer can plug your serial number into his dealer portal to identify the model number.

Champion and is right as I too have been researching. But just to be clear we are not trying to be a pia. Evinrude does not have a model year since 2012. The model number is important in parts selections. You are lucky because the first year water pump part number has superseded several times. The newest number for the latest models can back fit. This is not always the case.

I too found the numbers trail and ended up at the same part number as ChampioNman gave....5011599. I checked my owners package and there is a serial number, but no model number. I gave up and just started digging through the different ranges of model numbers and found that the water pump kits were the same for all of the G2 250's that I found.
