    2019 Yamaha 225 SHO (VF225LA) WATER PRESSURE SENSOR 69J-8A4L0-15-00

    Hi Guys

I'm getting ready to install the water pressure sensor on my SHO so that I can get the pressure reading on my command link and perhaps my Lowrance unit.

I received the sensor kit 69J-8A4L0-15-00 and the instructions that came with it look a little different than the setup that I currently have. Assuming I am looking in the correct location. It looks like I have a barbed T fitting already with a tube coming off it. I'm not really sure what the tube coming off the fitting is. Is this the tube for an analog gauge and capped off somewhere or is it for the speedometer and do I leave it attached with the new sensor or does it have to come off. Thanks for any help.

Just remove the outermost existing plug and gasket. Install the new gasket and adapter. Then install the new sensor and torque to specification.

Thanks Jeff for the detailed explanation. I will give that a try.
