    Cant get up to speed

I have a 2000 210 super pro procraft with a 225 efi, and a 12 inch jack plate. I’ve been told that I should be getting mid 60s loaded down. I can not break 58 mph. I’ve tried adjusting the jack plate and that does not seem to make a difference in speed at all. Any suggestions on how to get up into that mid 60s range?

You should run 70ish. My 2000, 210 with a 225opti ran out at 70 with 2 guys and gear. 25 or 26 tempest depending on temps.

My 210 with a 200 does 68. I'd agree with it being a prop issue

Yeah; you should be running around 70 mph. My 200 BASS ProCraft with a 225 Opti runs 68 mph fully loaded, Using a 25 Fury propeller and turning 6000 rpm. Prop center is 3.5" below pad. Hope that helps

I have a 98,20ft astro w/2011 200 proxs, just had the same problem I posted on the 3.0 merc forum and after all the help I was told to try a 14x24 fury,I borrowed my buddies that he runs on a 250,an wow what a big difference I went from not getting 50mph to 71.4 mph at 5500rpm wot. I would try either a 14x24 fury or 14x 25 tempest just like I was told

Are you getting your speed from a GPS or the boat speedometer?
