    Calais Drag

Anybody know who can work on a Calais 200 drag? Mine is either completely loose or I have to wrench it down fully to where no line can come out. ReelEx website says they are down so looking for someone else who can repair the drag. I am competent up to Chronarchs but beyond them, I get worried. The disassembly video I watched on a Calais was way to complicated for me.

Dave’s reel repair in Ill. They do good work on the old Shimanos.

Davesreelservice.com I would call or email them first.

    Eric,
Maybe Shimano or one of their service centers in CA will do it.

I just got a new scorpion dc that's doing the same thing. Gonna tear it apart and see if it has to much grease on the drag.

If its a brand new reel your line is most likely slipping, not a grease issue.
