    Try moving your trolling motor batteries to the front of the center storage compartment. Helped my 2019 175.

    Hey OP, the more I have dealt with TXW owners, the more I have found that all of them with 6-8 year old boats with the 60 benefit from mounting the motor on the second hole from the top. The ones who have a 75HP Optimax benefit from the 3rd hole. That should clean you up nicely and remove that resistance you have from the motor being so deep in the water.

    You also need a stainless prop on a 75 hp or bigger motor to benefit from moving it to the 3rd hole. Keep it in the 2nd hole if you have an aluminum prop.
