    Caught 7 yesterday with 3 being nice ones in the 17"-18" range, all on tubes except 1 on a jerkbait. Started at 7 am and caught all but the jerkbait fish by 9 am and then the bite died for me. Had enough of the wind by 130 and packed up and went home. Nice day to be out but the wind is brutal in my tin Ranger.

    It has been a slow spring for me this year compared to last. I have been catching a handful each time out but it has been a grind. First thing in the morning has been my most productive part of the day. Talked to another gentleman and he pretty much confirmed what i have experienced so far. Good luck out there.
