    Lower unit colour

I have an 06 vmax and the skeg needs to be repainted. Does anyone know of a colour that looks the most like it? I think it is a black but figured Id check on here to see if anyone has done it before.

    Thanks.

Presumption being that it for a VZ225/VZ250, the lower unit part number is 60X-45300-10-NA. The colour code is "NA".

According to colorrite it is shiney black. Their code 5544.

I should have specified. The motor is a V150TLR. This is great! I didn't know that site existed and its much better than guessing.

    Thank you for the help!

    Same colour code.

Not sure if the lower unit is clear coated or not from the factory. Clear coat makes it look pretty.

So that's what the 'Na' at the end stands for... I was going to just buy the colour in aerosol but the website said, The paint you selected requires base 1544 to ensure proper color matching, so I guess I'm buying that too. That's what got me wondering about the clearcoat.
Originally I was just going to use self etching primer and paint.
