    Ranger Boat Cover Repair

    Hello all,

I noticed a few small holes in my Ranger boat cover about 1"x1". Since I store the boat outside I would like to repair, in the mean time I just put some duct tape over the holes and I thught about maybe sewing a patch of some sort over them but that almost seems overkill due to the size of the holes.

Anyway any thoughts regarding a quick easy way to repair that will hold up while taking on and off?

    Thanks

Try TEAR-AID Fabric Repair Kit off Amazon. Works great.

Take it to a local canvas shop and they will patch it.

I used Flex Seal patches to cover the holes and spray-on Flex seal to seal it on my old black Ranger cover. I sold the cover when I found a pristine newer cover for a price I couldn't pass up. But that repair has held up for almost two years and it cost like $20 in materials and about 15 minutes to complete.

Before the repair, water would drain into into the boat through the two holes. After the repair, water would collect in the repaired area; not one drop would get through.
