Yesterday the Florida Legislature passed a bill that would allow farm raised black bass to be sold for consumption. Are there any other states that sell bass?

They don't even taste good unless they go through the dough delivery system.
GETFISHED !!!
Not here.
See them around here in the Asian grocery store.
The oh so plentiful little 10-12 inch marsh bass around here are very tasty...
typically, I won’t keep bass to eat but here in the back yard marsh, I will... they’re very very plentiful... when it’s easy to catch 30-50 in a couple hours, there’s no shortage..
Asian markets can sell farm raised in CA. They keep them in aquariums at the meat counter.

Allowing bass to be sold is a bad idea. Wild caught fish will be sold as farm raised.

2006 Ranger 188 VX with 150 E TEC and I EAT BASS!!!
I hope the farmers can catch them better than I can or he will go broke quick. Lol.
Wild Caught Fish are difficult to catch plus you need an $80, 000 dollar boat with $20,000 worth of High Tech Electronics, Space Age Trolling Motors, Power Poles and Custom Made Colorful Commercial Covered Clothing in order to catch them.
Plus there is way too much competition trying to catch the same fish it’s much cheaper to raise them domestically for resell.
So not be be that guy but as a young adult alot of people I know would keep bass to eat whether it was regular fishing or ice fishing. In the past 20 years things have changed and now it seems no one will keep a bass to eat a bass. 20 years ago a 4/5 or 6 was not uncommon. Nowadays that seems to be rare. Not sure of why but it seems the less fish that are kept, the smaller but more plentiful the fish......
Good grief people. Bass aren’t that great to eat. Small ones are ok and there are people that like them but not so many that it will cause people to Gill net them on public waters. There will not be a high enough demand to cause such a problem.
I’ll eat a small bass here and there that I catch, but damn they aren’t good enough to buy. Lol
