Prop for P2 with 200 Optimax

I recently purchased a 08 Pantera 2 with 200 optimax 2 stroke looking to get another prop...it has a 25 tempest plus on it now but is in bad shape & needs work...Was looking to buy another & didn’t know if I should go back with tempest or if there is another prop that would perform better...Thoughts?

Here are a couple of threads I did back when I had a PII. The motor was just a regular Optimax even though the decals said "ProXS."

Stock 25 Fury 3 is a good all round prop for the P2. Mine came from the factory with that.

Maybe rework the tempest as the boat is probably set up well for it since its an '08. If you go to a Fury or 4 blade you will almost certainly have to play with the engine height. I Run a 25 fury and it does great.

Honestly my favorite prop on my P2 was a 25 Hi5. You'll top out at like 66 but the handling and holeshot are ridiculous.

Im just bought a 24 fury. Been running a worked 25 fury. The 25 does s great job. I was wanting a little more mid range. The 24 was ok in most areas. Though i knew the the 24 need tweaked so i sent it to Ronnie. So we will see how it does?

    My two props are:
    24 Fury 24
    25 Trophy Plus

The Fury 4 was worked by Ronnie Gilbert to get it off the Rev Limiter.

Is there a general rule for how much to pitch down for 4 stroke?

It seems to be at least one pitch down.
Sometimes 2 pitches on the larger 20 footers.
