    Oh boy!

Doing the final crunch stuff on the old 201's trip, picked up a seal kit for the steering and tackled that this afternoon after a morning of final buffing. First time I've done the steering seal and if you're going to do it, the spanner they send you won't crack open the seal. You need a 14" 1" id pipe to use as a cheater bar to slip over the pin spanner. Worked great. Now to bleed down in the AM, and hit the top cap with some Protec, get the paper work together and head up to Lake Hartwell for the change of command ceremony. Gonna be a fun weekend, think I'll teach him the breach stop.

Now that you've got that down, you can come show me on the 210 ... Might even smoke a butt for ya.

I'd have to go look, but thought a 3/8" ratchet would snap into that spanner. I have a long handled one I used. The Bubble Purge bleed kit Tyler Holland sells is the cat's meow for bleeding the steering,

Your son is getting a mighty nice hand me down! Did he fish in it a bunch when he was younger.

I gotta get to work cleaning up my grandpa's Arkansas Traveler. My youngest now has a place for it and it's perfect for the small trout lakes in his area.

Thanks so much for sharing that. Definitely will be purchasing that kit. That job was always a mess, this seems so easy!

Yep bought that a while back and used it when I installed the hydro system on Charles' 168.

Don't have a 3/8" breaker and the pipe worked great.

Make it a brisket and you may have a deal.

Breech stop in a 201 is an adventure....when it comes around, it REALLY comes around.

My first ride in a Champ was in a 201. They were still demo-ing the breech stop. Wow!!!!!!!

Not that I will ever try it, but how does the 210 handle the breech stop? has anyone ever tried it in a 210?

I've never done one in a 210, after my time.
