    Dogwood lake

    Anyone ever venture onto Dogwood Lake? Part of the Beech River lakes? Dogwood, Redbud, etc. Can't seem to find a lot on it. Other than 500 acres,
    steep ramp and has a good shellcracker population. Bass fishing is the question. Thanks! Staying at the Natchez cabins for the first week in May. Browns
    Creek, Pin Oak and 1000 Acre on our radar. Curious about Dogwood though.

    Tons and tons of vegetation in that lake. Far more than any of the other Beech River lakes. Huge population of 10-12in bass. 4lb plus fish are there but not common. Usually not very crowded either. Great lake to take a kid just due to the sheer numbers of fish.
