I will say, I have quite a few rods, some are high end....but my BPS Crankin Stick is awesome (for 10XD's....I have the Mag Hvy), I love that rod.

I'd try a BPS Crankin' Stick 7'-0 medium heavy. $60 last week. $80 now. It'll do what you need except burn up your credit card.

30 lb Power Pro, 20 lb big game leader.

Throw it in the right place and you'll catch fish.

Same here. I have the Dobyns chatterbait special 736 cb. Don't care for it. The 734 is good but the Kaden 714 is better.

I picked up a favorite 7ft. 2 in heavy action in the white bird series for 60 bucks at a show last year. One of the best chatterbait rods I’ve ever owned.
I,d rather be tried by 12 than be carried by 6

I have a favorite balance 7' MH-moderate that is my swim/bladed jig and spinnerbait rod. Happy with the fit and finish and couldn't beat the price

The ALX Rumble is great and also makes a great swim jig rod.

/\/\ This. It’s not your typical mushy composite glass rod. Believe me.

Have you tried Kistler feel n reel...very similar to.alpha where top 1/3 soft glass. Still not perfect in heavier grass but heavy grass with a bladed jig requires different rid than sparse cover to no cover...imo
Where are the BIG ones? When are we going?

Ark Randall Tharp series b-hittay. Hard to beat those rods at $129. No need for a ridiculously expensive rod for a chatterbait. If you want a rod with a little more oompf and not a composite mix the ark invoker pro 7'3 mh regular action is an amazing rod at $150. I fish everything from big topwater to lighter jigs spinnerbaits swimjigs and buzzbaits on it. Slightly more parabolic than a tradition mh rod

X2- used to be DSR but the Tatula has a bit more flex in the tip and I like the way it casts better. It's also a great value too.
