    Kerr Lake

Are there spotted bass in Kerr Lake? I'm pretty sure a guy weighed a 3.9lb spot yesterday at Kerr. First one I've seen at Buggs ever. If those things get in there like Gaston it could really affect the fishing up there.

Have not seen any spots come out of Kerr myself yet but since Gaston is loaded it would not suprise me at all. We can all hope it does not get infested like Gaston but i think it is inevitable.

If you think Gaston is bad, go to Norman. They're ridiculous.

they’re the best thing that ever happened to that lake. It would still be Dead Sea lkn without them.

I agree 1000% anybody that thinks the spots hurt Norman never fished it before they got in there. Calling it the Dead Sea was an understatement. That was the best thing that ever happened to Norman.

As for Kerr we was catching spots and smallmouth in the upper part of the lake 20 years ago. Even a few Walleyes.

I have been fishing Kerr a long time, Caught plenty of Smallmouth and Walleye. Did not catch any spots 20 years ago. Caught some last year. Just goes to show you that they do not take over every lake.

We was catching in the upper end around Clarksville and above along time ago. Mostly small fish but there have been some close to 4 pounds weighed in this year.
