Personally i just cant see that working on any kind of rough service especially on a long term thing. This guy does a heck of a job on wraps as i would put him up there with the best, if can be done i would think he would be the one you really need to talk to, he may have some suggestions for you. His name is Jeff Stanford, i will pm you his number if you don't have it.

I talked to him about extra adhesive for a standard trailer and he assured me that non is needed and that the adhesive used is strong. I figured I will give it a try. 40 bucks is not that bad of an investment.

Ok guys, here's an update on what I did to install on a regular non stainless fenders.
First, there is 1 rivet in the center of each diamond plate. I drilled the rivet out and removed the diamond plate. There is also small 2 sided tape on each end of the diamond plates to keep them from sliding.
Then I cleaned the top of the fenders with rubbing alcohol. Sealed the Rivet Hole with Flex Seal in Black color, but you can use whatever you think is right. Placed the seafoam on top of fenders and marked where I want them placed.
Peeled the backing and stuck them on with no extra adhesive. The adhesive that's on them seem very strong and the guy selling them told me no need for any extra adhesive.
We'll see how they hold up long term.20210513_163404.jpg

Yeah, I know, just didn't think this tip on black fenders was added yet. Maybe it is, not sure.

Should probably put some silicon in the rivet hole to keep water from seeping underneath the Sea Dek. These look sharp!

It pays to look at other boat forums. I'm getting a set for my Nitro, with the Nitro logo, of course. Thanks for the tip.
