Any recommendation for a set of gauges for checking air and fuel pressures?
I’m not having any issues at the moment but see recommendations here often to check the air and fuel pressures for various problems. Thanks.

I made a set that's better than the one Mercury sells.
I bought this gauge >>>>
9767070 Type 213.53 Pressure Gauge / 0 - 160 psi / 2 1/2" - 1/4" NPT $17.05 x 2 $34.10

I have used Wika brand gauges in alot of projects at work, and they perform well.
I actually ordered a new set from <See Announcements, Please>, got the merc set for 400 bucks, good deal. A friend of mine sells gauges, can get 1/2 % gauges, he has digital also.

Awhile back I bought a pair of Precision brand 0 - 160psi 2 1/2" glycerin filled gauges to make a set, still looking for the round tuit to complete project.

I used a +/- 1% single gauge to get readings on mine, merc gauges were antique, that is why I got another set....

If attempting to build a set on your own, it's a good idea to choose a pressure range that will permit you to read the increments that you will find you AIR or FUEL pressure at.
Normally that would be a 0-160 or 0-200 psi gauge.

Savage- My eyes went straight to the picture and totally missed the 0-160 description. Good job!
That's a pretty good choice, too. The ones I installed on my OEM set are far more accurate than the originals.

I'll try to get a picture posted tonight, if I remember.
Any update on pictures Savage? And maybe list of components you used? Wanting to do an air/fuel test but boat shops are booked out months, being boating season, and the Mercury setups are an arm and leg. Thanks!
Mercury setups are an arm and leg
Isnt that the truth! For a owner that might hook one up every once in awhile, hard to justify. I bought the wika gauges and was waiting so I might get a look at a “custom” set up that works before I put something together. The glycerin filled wikas are nice. Seem like a solid part.
