New to the area...where to fish

I recently moved to Pineville Louisiana this past year. I fished Toledo Bend and Caney Lake but I wondered what lakes may be closer to Pineville. Can anybody help me out?

Saline/Larto has always been fun and is close to Pineville.

Indian Creek in Woodworth is a clear water lake. Not sure if the hydrilla is still there. If you go, once you get off I49 follow the speed limit. They love giving speeding tickets. Chicot is just a little farther south. People do good there occasionally from what I hear. I haven't fished either place in years. I spend a lot of time at Toledo
    Good luck

Indian Creek, Cotile Lake, Kincade Lake (all stumpy and clear water lakes), Red River Pools 1, 2, 3, Cleco Lake (power plant lake), Saline/Larto (thats my favorite), Cane River, Black River Lake (Jonesville).

Cane and Black are about 1 hr from Pineville

After the rain we got last night, everything is on the rise....Saline/Larto is about 4' high and rising....Red River is on the rise again

I used to basically stop fishing after May. Now that I have and understand Livescope, I fish year round. I focus on crappie, and they are on the tops and natural lay downs on both Indian Creek and Kincaid right now. I have 7 or so good spots on each and am finding new ones on most trips, so I do not feel the need to fish any where else.

When this high water starts falling on Saline, I'll be out there for a while though. Got to get my bass fix in from time to time.
