Well to compare, Texas has a share a lunker program where they come get the biggest trophy fish caught, breed them, then go release the trophy fish along with those big genetic fry back into the fisheries. On the other hand, our management creates a hokey Trophy catch program to get the googans to show some big fish and then they use that as propaganda to show how great they are managing our fisheries. One is the real deal the other is Fake News.

I was watching the MLF Patriot Cup held on John's Lake last year and the Guys all kept saying how clean the water was "for Florida" and how much Hydrilla there was there. Shaw Grisby even said he didn't think Johns had Hydrilla.
I'd bet now that it has aired the FWC will be headed straight to it to Kill it it all if they haven't already.
