    Electronics Trade-in?

I have Humminbird electronics (Solix Gen1) and want to know if we have any sponsors who have a trade in program?
My goal is to stick with Bird but to upgrade without having to try and use Craig's List or similar to move my current stuff?

Better off selling it outright than trade it in

It depends, I contacted RMP about trading my Lowrence Gen 2 non touch units and was told they are too old. I have seen some as old as mine on the used inventory list, so I'm not sure exactly where those came from.

I'll go ahead and answer that without even knowing the answer (). Kind of like trading your car/truck in at the dealership instead of selling it yourself. You are going to get quite a bit less for it, but it makes the process much "easier" time-wise.

Not a knock on them by any means but yeah expect to get a low offer. A lot of risk for them, easier to post it on this forum. I sold my HDS Gen 3 9" and 12" this way and both were smooth transactions. Just can't get greedy.

The trade-in value is off full list price of the new unit. So not only are you dealing with a wholesale trade but no discount off of new unit - double wammy
