    115 sho

I’m new to 4 strokes, and was wondering if it’s normal for a humming sound to be coming from the motor, with the key in on position. Not run position. Thought it might be the computer. It’s a 2021.

I can't say I've noticed mine hum, but I'm guessing what you're hearing is the electronic fuel pump.

The fuel pump will not normally run with the motor off. It only runs for a few seconds when the key is first turned on.

What you are probably hearing is the electronic throttle valve. They hum. If you listen carefully when you turn the motor off you may hear the ETV cycle in preparation for the next start.
